Artie and May Beecher (nee Laurence)

Florence May Laurence with her sister Mary Jane and on the day of her wedding to Arthur Conrad ('Artie') Beecher
at Narrandera in 1905.

The cottage at Bee Farm at Gillenbah shortly before May's death in 1915. May and Artie are on the right with Artie nursing Isobel and holding Arthur jnr.
Mary-Anne Lattimore tells us the couple on the left are Ada and Archie Bland with their two eldest children: William and Frederick.
The elderly gentleman in the centre is a Mr Carmichael.

We now think this photo was taken on the same day as the one above of Bee Farm (seen in the background of this photo).
It shows May Beecher (on the left) with her sister-in-law, Ada May Bland nee Beecher with her two children.

The wedding photo of Archie's younger sister, Ada May Beecher (1887-1960), and Archibald Alexander Carlisle ('Archie') Bland (1888-1961)
who were married at Narrandera in 1910. After their marriage, they lived at Ungarie where Archie worked as a carpenter and
they had their three sons - William Archibald (1910-26), Frederick George (1912-31) and Harold Selwyn Bland (1914-70) - and later
Laurieton near Port Macquarie where Ada died in 1960. Archie died at Riverstone in Sydney the following year.

This photo was among those that had belonged to the members of the Laurence family. We originally thought the
two older children pictured may have been Arthur jnr and Isabella Beecher but are now not sure.
